THE SYSTEM
A governed framework for the global culinary sector.
The system architected by Zegarra-MV Zrt. operates through three pillars — institutional, convergence and narrative — supported by three programs within ICAA. Each part has a clearly defined, non-overlapping role, and together they give the sector a common framework, from origin to experience.
THREE PILLARS
ICAA
Pillar · Institutional
International Culinary Arts Association
WHAT IT IS
The institutional pillar of the system: the association that accredits and legitimizes the culinary arts, at every level and in every discipline.
WHY IT MATTERS
It gives the sector shared standards, professional frameworks and a common basis for recognition — without replacing the associations and professional bodies that have built the field.
WCF
Pillar · Convergence
WHAT IT IS
The convergence pillar: a biennial summit, hosted by a different country each cycle, where governments, associations, professionals and institutional actors align on the advancement of the sector.
WHY IT MATTERS
It is the moment the sector becomes visible and connects — cooperation, exchange and investment around the culinary arts.
STATUS
The Founding Edition (2027) is in the process of host-country definition.
World Culinary Festival
FLAME Platform
Pillar · Narrative
FLAME Platform
WHAT IT IS
The narrative pillar: it documents, co-produces and safeguards the editorial and cultural heritage of the culinary arts generated across the system.
WHY IT MATTERS
It extends visibility and continuity beyond physical events, and protects the cultural heritage it records.
THREE PROGRAMS WITHIN ICAA
WIBAL, WCT and CCF are programs within ICAA — not separate pillars.
WIBAL
World International Board for Accreditation and Legitimacy
Accreditation, standardization and institutional legitimacy: the standards through which professionals, schools and institutions are recognized.
WCT
World Culinary Tour
A ranking and classification circuit for the disciplines of the culinary arts, with a structured pathway toward WCF.
CCF
Culinary Catalyst Fund
Identifies, validates and accompanies new culinary-arts projects and helps make them viable, in alliance with a CCF Program Partner.
